Rickey Wayne Beasley

Rickey Wayne Beasley was born on August 28, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa to Richard and Wilma Lorraine (Bowles) Beasley. Rick passed away on April 18, 2022 in Iowa City, Iowa succumbing to injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Rick's career was a night auditor at several hotels in the Des Moines area, including the Savery Renaissance Hotel and most recently AC Hotel Des Moines East Village. Rick had a wide range of interests including photography and computer science and was a daily reader of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Judith and Barbara. He is survived by his companion Diana Nelson and lifelong friend David Kidder along with numerous other friends. No services are planned. Interment of ashes will be with his family in the Oakdale Cemetery, Adel, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in memory of Rick.
