Rikelme Moises Tellez was born April 27, 2008 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, and died July 3, 2008 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, at the age of 2 months and 6 days. Rikelme was the beloved son of Ana Gabriela Dorantes and Victor Manuel Tellez. At birth he weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 17 inches long. Rikelme was much loved and will be missed by his grandparents, Ana Luisa Figueroa, Roberto Dorantes, Isabel Escudero and Emiliano Tellez; great grandmother Eva Gutierrez; aunt Eva Ines Dorantes and uncle Roberto Dorantes; great uncles Alvaro and Fernando Figueroa, Feliciano Tellez; and great aunts Angelica Figueroa and husband Roberto Flores; Estela and Angela Tellez; cousins, many other relatives and friends. Rikelme was preceded in death by his great -great grandma Juana DeLaRosa who died 11 years ago on the same date. She is rocking him in Heaven.
