Rita Booge - Adel

Rita M. Booge died Oct. 7th, 2014 in Beaverton, Oregon, from natural causes after battling Alzheimer's for the last 10 years of her life. Family will greet friends Friday, Oct. 17 from 4-6 p.m. at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel. There will be a reception following at the American Legion in Van Meter for further fellowship. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18th at Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas. Rita was preceded in death by her husband Vince; sister, Janice Seistrup; stepson, Robert Booge; stepdaughter; Karen Hodgell and granddaughter, Leslie Ann Hodgell. She is survived by brother Robert Measures of Newberg, Oregon. Daughters; Lynn Brenny of Owatonna, Minnesota; Diane (Greg) Eiden of Portland, Oregon; Cathy (Brian) Steinbauer of Owatonna, Minnesota; Jean Fountas of Des Moines; sons Michael (Nancy) Hiatt of Phoenix, Arizona; Richard (Dana) Booge of Van Meter, Iowa, 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name. Service: 11:00 A.M.
