Robert "Bob" Denneson

Robert “Bob” Denneson, 61 of Waukee, passed away October 6, 2020. Funeral Services will take place at 2:00 pm Monday, October 12, 2020 at Caldwell Parrish McCalley Chapel in Adel. A visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. For those in attendance, it is recommended to wear masks and follow CDC or IDPH recommendations for COVID-19. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or directed to the family for future designation. Bob Denneson was born March 8, 1959 in Knoxville, IA to Robert and Beulah Denneson. He graduated from Knoxville High School in 1977. Bob was united in marriage to Stephanie Chapman on June 29, 1991 and at that time they brought their families together to raise them as one. Bob was a dedicated sales representative for Solaray where they knew they could count on his determination as an employee. He was a passionate sports fan and enjoyed watching Iowa Hawkeyes and Miami Dolphins football games. Bob loved cars and trucks, especially watching and attending Monster truck shows. Although Bob had numerous hobbies and interests, his greatest love was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His legacy will carry on in the hearts of his family; wife Stephanie Denneson; son Chris (April) Chapman; daughters Kerrie (Jake) Stober and Amber (Tony) Kilgore; grandchildren Christina, Jordan, Nevaeh, Grant, Gabby, Wesley, Elsie, Hattie; brother Carl (Karen) Denneson; mother-in-law Marlene Brown. Also survived is Stephanie’s brothers and sisters and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Roberta and father-in-law Ralph Brown.
