Rodney Alan Bragg

Rodney, 51, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014., of a heart attack. His memorial service will be 12:00 noon Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at Caldwell Raddatz Funeral Home, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA. Visitation will be Friday Feb 21 from 5 to 7:00 p.m. and from 10 until service time Sat. Rodney was born Sept. 8, 1962 in Burlington, IA to Alice and John Bragg Sr. He earned an associate arts degree from DMACC and a bachelors degree in accounting from Drake University. He married Laura Ann Hoelzen in 1985 and later divorced. He enjoyed Hawkeye football, reading, fishing, watching movies with his kids, and eating popcorn. Survivors include his mother, Alice Bragg of Burlington; children, Colleen Bragg, Caitlin Bragg and Candice Bragg both all West Des Moines, and Kyle Bragg of Urbandale; brothers, John Jr. and Bill, both of Burlington, sisters, Roberta Ferguson and Shawne Wheatley, both of Burlington, and Tammy Grisham of Lomas, IL; and the mother of his children, Laura Bragg, of Urbandale.
