Roger Scharlau, 63, loving husband and father, died Monday September 1, 2014 of lung cancer. He is survived by his wife Donna, children Rod, Peter (Haley), Janeen (Jerry) and Nicole (Blair); ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, brother; Walt (Wendy) and many friends and relatives. Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel where a Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions can be directed to Kavanagh House.
