Rolonda “Lonnie” Peacock, 68, of Winterset, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel. Family will greet friends one hour prior, beginning at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a local mission of your choice in memory of Lonnie. Rolonda Kay “Lonnie” Peacock was born in Creston, Iowa on September 13, 1952, to Jerry and R. Nadine (Davis) Trevillyan. She graduated from Winterset High School in 1970 and was united in marriage to Daniel Peacock on January 15, 1972. Lonnie occasionally worked both inside and outside the home caring for children, but she mostly devoted her time to nurturing and caring for her own family. Lonnie loved baking and used her talent to create exceptional cakes for her family’s special occasions. She loved spending time with her family, laughing and visiting while playing games, working on crafts, and putting together puzzles. She enjoyed gardening and being outside as well as reading. Lonnie was active in her church, teaching various children’s programs. She loved her Lord, and one of her greatest joys was teaching her own children and children in the church about loving and serving Jesus. Lonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and R. Nadine Trevillyan; grandparents, Charles and Sadie (Cashman) Davis and Richard and Bertha (Reel) Trevillyan. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel Peacock; daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Neifer; son, Jared (Jill) Peacock; daughter, Johanna Peacock; grandchildren, Ben (Kayla) Peacock, Chelsey Rinard, Britni Rinard, Christian Peacock, Megan Neifer, Logan “Jake” Peacock, Jason Neifer, Jenna Peacock, and Julia Peacock; great-grandchildren, Elin Peacock-Walker, Lynessa Peacock-Walker, Maddox Hebert, and Bentley Wills; brother, Steven (Sue) Trevillyan; sister, Michele (Verlan) Van Gorp; aunt, Virginia Beery; uncle, Delbert (Jackie) Trevillyan; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
