Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is incharge of arrangements for Ronald Lee Nicolaisen, son of Robert Dean Nicolaisen and Betty Lorraine Coleman, was born in Perry Iowa August 27, 1959. Ronald, a beloved father, grandfather and son passed away peacefully at his home in Perry November 30, 2017, at the age of 58. Ronald attended Perry High School. He livied most of his life north of Perry. Ronald married Denise Walker in 1984 and to this union, two sons Ronald Lee II and Nic were born. Ronald previously lived in Dawson and Rippey before settling permanently in Perry. Ronald worked for Dahl's Heating and Air as a plumbing and heating and air specialist until 2001 when he began driving trucks for FC in Perry. Ronald had a fondness and love for hunting and fishing. He also had a collection of DVD's that he had collected over the years. His favorite hobby however was playing with his only grandchild Ivan Lee. The pair could often be caught eating popsicles together. Ronald was loved dearly by his sons, brothers, and parents. Ronald's memory will forever be cherished by his sons Ronald Nicolaisen (Marisa) of Woodward, IA and Nick Nicolaisen of Hawaii; his mother Betty Nicolaisen of Perry, IA; three brothers Robert Nicolaisen II (Laurie) of Hawaii, Jerry Nicolaisen (Brenda) of Perry, IA, and William Nicolaisen (Wendy) of Perry, IA; grandson Ivan Lee Nicolaisen, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his father Robert, as well as his brother Donald LeRoy (Le Roy).Arrangements are pending.
