Ronald Leon Madren was born June 9, 1941 to Byron and Margaret {Sedars} Madren in Adel, Ia, and passed away November 20, 2022 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home - McCalley Chapel in Adel. Burial will be after the service at Morrisburg Cemetery, west of Redfield. Family will greet friends Friday, November 25th at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Ronnie grew up in Redfield, Ia, and graduated from Redfield High School in 1959.
During his teen years, Ronnie worked at his Dad's Service Station, where cars would line up Saturday mornings for their $1 car wash and detail. Ronnie bought his 1st car at the age of 14!

After graduating High School, Ronnie attended Iowa Barber College in Des Moines. He was a barber in Redfield and the surrounding communities for 20+ yrs. Ronnie's biggest passion was cars. He was either washing, fixing or selling. For over 30 years he drove the school bus for Dexfield Community Schools.
In 1961, Ronnie was united in marriage to Karen Godwin. To this union 2 Adorable, Fun, Sweet, Hilarious, Loving, PERFECT children were born. Favorite Daughter, Ronda Renee and Favorite Son, Russell Leon (Rusty).

The Greatest Joy in Ronnie's Life was hands down, spending time in Boji with his Kids, Grandkids, Lake Drive Neighbors and Friends, who are like Family! So many memories, Best.Life.Ever !
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Grandson Connor Ron Branson, Son-in-law Jon Branson, Sister and her Husband, Bonnie Lou & Richard Nielsen, Niece Jodi Reynolds, and
Brother-in-law Marvin Reynolds
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Karen, Daughter Ronda Branson, Son Rusty (Joan) Madren, Grandchildren Jill (Curtis) Marouelli , Hillary Smith, Mallory Smith, Molly Kay Branson, Davis (Hanna) Madren and Sydney (Sam) Challe and Great Grandchildren Jack and Ronnie Marouelli. Brother Danny (Bonnie Rae) Madren, Sisters Donna Reynolds and Jeanette Madren and Brother-in -law Garth (Diana) Godwin as well as a multitude of friends reaching all the way from Canada to Arizona
