Ronnie Lowe Madison Jr.

Ronnie Lowe Madison Jr. was born on October 25, 1978 in Iowa City to Ronnie Madison Sr. and Wanda Kay (Joiner). He went to school all over Iowa. Ronnie and Kellie Jo Dillavou were united in marriage on February 28, 2001 at the Greene County Medical Center so her grandma could be a part of it. The couple was blessed with five daughters: Monica, Shanda, Avery, Breanna, and Haydyn. The family made their home in Grand Junction until 4 years ago when they moved to Dana. Ronnie drove a semitruck for most of his adult life. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, smoking all different kinds of meat, cooking shows, and especially family time. Ronnie passed away suddenly on October 31, 2023 at the Boone County Hospital at the age of 45. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts & uncles, and father-in-law Gene Dillavou. He will be missed dearly by his wife Kellie of Dana; mother Wanda Kay Bunkers of Dallas Center; daughters: Monica Coleman (Nate) of Grand Junction, Shanda Madison (Chaz Harvey) of Bayard, Avery Sanders (Jessie) of Grand Junction, Breanna Madison and Haydyn Madison both of Dana; seven grandchildren: Reeslyn Harvey, Carter Harvey, Atreyu Harvey, Theo Coleman, Zaylee Harvey, Hudsyn Coleman and Anastasia Harvey; brother Earl Hickman (Tanicia) of Caroll; sister Tammy Madison of West Des Moines; mother-in-law Vicki Dillavou of Grand Junction; other relatives , and many friends. *Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2023 also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Junction Township Cemetery in Grand Junction.
