Roseanna Otto

Roseanna Otto, 23, of Winterset died Monday, May 27, 2019 at her home. A visitation with family present will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, at Caldwell Parrish Winterset Chapel. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 5, at Caldwell Parrish Winterset Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Roseanna Otto Memorial Fund at Banker’s Trust and online condolences can be left at caldwellparrish.com. Roseanna Marie Otto, daughter of Jon and Darice (Adams) Otto, was born August 30, 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from I-35 High School in 2013 and continued her education obtaining her CNA license. She had plans to begin nursing school this coming fall. Roseanna was a naturally caring person which was displayed daily through her work as a CNA at Regency Care in Norwalk and later Winterset Care Center North. She also worked at the Pizza Ranch in Winterset. Roseanna’s three girls were her world and she loved being their mother. Roseanna’s favorite thing to do was take her girls fishing. She enjoyed living with and caring for her grandma, Joan. Roseanna loved spending time her with family and friends, who were also like family. Above all else, she was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will forever be missed. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jon and Darice Otto; her three daughters, Alaina, Karli and Skylar; siblings, Brandon Otto of Winterset; Grace Otto of Indianola; Lillian (Levi) Steil of Carlisle; grandmother, Joan Smith of Winterset; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. Roseanna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Connie (Dennis) Otto; grandpa, Mark Adams; and a special great grandma, Eva “Nana” Hughes.
