Rosetta Ann Pfaff, 91, of Windsor Heights, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2021 at Senior Suites of Urbandale. Rosetta was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 11, 1929 to parents (Tom) and Barbara (Bobbie) Hubbard. She was a loving wife and mother and a successful homemaker. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Theresa's Catholic Church for many years and a volunteer at Mercy Hospital Guild. Rosetta married August "Gus" Pfaff Jr., the love of her life, on June 23, 1951. They will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary in Heaven. Together they raised three children. Rosetta is survived by two sons, Dan (Kris) of Des Moines, Dr. Ken (Karla) of Grimes, daughter Jenifer (Paul) Holtz of Solon, 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, her sister, Barbara ( Barb) Houske, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers-in-law, Bud Houske and Jack Williams, and sister-in-law, Rosemary Williams. Words cannot express how special she was and how much she will be missed by all who knew her. Heaven has gained another amazing angel to watch over us. The family would like to thank Senior Suites of Urbandale for the loving care they provided over the years and to Hospice for helping to make her final days more comfortable. Services will be held at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 1230 Merle Hay Road in Des Moines on June 28th. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 followed by a Funeral Mass. Interment will be held at Glendale Cemetery.
