Ruby Faller, age 95 of Perry, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the Kings Garden Campus of Perry Lutheran Homes in Perry. Private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials will be given to Perry Food Pantry and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Online condolences may be left at www.carrisfuneralhome.com. Ruby Faller was born on January 26, 1927, in Tripp, South Dakota to Adam and Emilia (Frey) Dewald. She graduated from Tripp High School. She was united in marriage to Wilbert "Wally" Faller in Tripp, South Dakota on September 19, 1948. She worked for many years at Anthony's in Perry. She was a member of the First United Methodist church and the Perry Elks Club. She enjoyed having fun and being with her friends and family. In death she rejoins her husband Wally Faller, parents Adam and Emilia Dewald, son-in-law Mike Chew, siblings Alma Bennett, Edgar Dewald, Vivian Bryce, Violet Bosma, and twin brother Ruben Dewald. She is also rejoining the Perry Gang, Mary and Louie, Phyllis and Bob, Bill, Jo and Glen, and Arline and Claire. Left to cherish Rubys memory are her son Bruce Faller and his wife Julie of Lincoln, Nebraska, two daughters: Deborah Young and her husband Greg of Lombard, Illinois, and Susan Chew of Dallas Center, Iowa, grandchildren, Megan Mickle, Chandler, Arizona, Steve Young of Woodstock, Illinois, Derek (Luke Martin) Faller of Hickman, Nebraska, Kevin (Melissa) Chew of Dallas Center, Iowa, and Breanna (Jason) Peck of Lander, Wyoming, great grandchildren, Bradley Mickle, Kaylee Chew, Konner Chew, Andie Peck, and Abbie Peck. She leaves behind her longtime friends, Helen and Clark Pohl, and Mary Lou Zollman.
