Russell Gene Crecelius

Gene, 69, died at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines Saturday, November 28, 2015. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Perry, IA. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 2 after 1:00 p.m. with family present 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Survivors include his wife Gwen (Stark) of Perry; mother Doris Crecelius of Bedford, IA; son Chad Crecelius (Kayla) of Brighton, CO; daughters Kim Crecelius of Boulder, CO and Amy Ciccotti (Mike) of Arvada, CO; stepchildren Ronee Wagener of Ankeny, IA and Cassie Russell of Ankeny, IA; brother Gary Crecelius (Lorraine) of Ankeny, IA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
