Russell Jackson Iii

Russell Kimble Jackson III  was born November 27, 1945, in Des Moines, IA to Russell Kimble Jackson SR and Fern Maxine Vincent. Russell dedicated his life to Philadelphia 7th day Adventist church for many years.    Russell married the love of his life, Billie Jackson for 53 plus years. They were blessed with 2 sons, Russell Kimble IV and Roderic Kendall Jackson     Russell was educated in the Des Moines Public School system and attended East High School and later served in the United States Army. Russell was a hard worker in the grocery industry, retiring from Super Valu Grocery Distributors after 38 years of service. He worked for Per Mar & Marsh Security from 2002-2018. He was an exceptional artist. In his spare time he loved to watch sports and was a BIG Minnesota Viking fan.     Russell passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at The Good Samaritan Society Home in Indianola, Iowa after fighting agent orange exposure for a number of years.   Russell Kimble Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Kimble Jackson Sr. and Fern Maxine Vincent, son Russell Kimble Jackson IV and siblings, Leon and Donald Vincent, Lillian Darling, Fran Harrington, Melvin, Russell Jr Jackson, Lorene Sparks, Doris Jackson, Gwen Hardeman and Norma Chandler. Sister n laws Roverta Butts and Beverly Johnson.    Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 53 plus years Billie Jackson of Des Moines, IA, his son Roderic Jackson of Des Moines IA, His grandchildren Russell Kimble V, Russhonda, Russhawn, Ryan Jordan, and Cameron Jackson, Breonna Oakley and Dante Johnson and 8 great grandchildren: his siblings Janice (Patrick) Freeman of Jacksonville, FL, Philip Jackson and William Vincent. Mother in law Erma Boston, Sister in Law Rosalie Davis, brother in law Doran Thomas, many nieces, nephews, and special friends.  *Masks are required for all attendees.
