Ruth Ann Shriver

Ruth Ann Shriver was born May 10, 1956 at Manning, Iowa to Clell and Margaret Lyon Shriver, and she died at the Perry Lutheran Home on November 7, 2007. Ruth andher family lived at Bayard, Iowa for the first 10 years of her life. In 1966, she and her family moved to Perry to enable Ruth to attend Special Education classes. Later she attended the Dallas County workshop for the handicapped which later became Abilities Unlimited. Ruth was a member of the United Methodist Church of Perry. She looked forward to going to Abilities Unlimited, and being with her friends, and would cry if bad weather forced Abilites to close. She loved music, espeically listening to the Lawrence Welk orchestra. Ruth is survived by her mother, Margaret of Perry; two brothers, Glen and Calvin.
