Ruth Louise Miller

Ruth Miller of Adel passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home – McCalley Chapel in Adel. Ruth was born on May 13, 1933 to William and Jenny (Seltzer) Phelps. She married Floyd Thomas Miller on December 26, 1959. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Connie Laverrenz; grandchildren, Kris and Tim Van Der Kamp; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Lauren, Maggie and Kate Van Der Kamp, and Sydnee Gillaspy; her sisters, Edna Garr and Sarah Exline; and her partner, Paul Howell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd and her parents. Memorial contributions may be directed to WesleyLife Hospice in Johnston.
