Ruth (Suzy) Nash, 95, passed away on January 31st at Prairie Vista Care Center in Altoona, Iowa. Suzy was born January 7th, 1927, in Wausau, Wisconsin to Jacob and Julia (Anderson) Stuhlfauth. She married Keith Nash in 1949 and they had four children: Barbara, Mary, Laura, and David. Suzy was adored by all who knew her. She always had a smile on her face and a song in her heart that she would often share with you. She had an incomparable wit that you might miss if you weren’t quick. In her young life, she was a stay-at-home mom and created many lasting memories and adventurous tales with her children. Later, she became a nurse and worked at Mercy Hospital for many years. She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Al) Hyslope and Laura Miner; grandchildren, Alfred (Jennifer) Hyslope, John (Jennifer) Miner and Jennifer Havemann; great-grandchildren, Ryan Hyslope, Katelyn Hyslope, Natalie Miner, Madelyn Miner and Zoe Havemann. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Julia Stuhlfauth; husband, Keith; children, Barbara and David; son-in-law, Larry Miner; sister, Mary Hoyer; sister-in-law, Shirley Dimick. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
