Sally Lou White, daughter of Norman Ames and Florene Marching, was born June 14, 1950 in Ottumwa, Iowa and died April 23, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 64 years, 10 months and 9 days. Sally attended and graduated high school in Ottumwa. She then went to Indian Hills to study nursing aid, graduating as a certified medical aid. Sally worked at nursing homes in Ottumwa until moving to Columbus Junction. While living in Columbus Junction she worked at a drapery company. Sally also worked at a Burger King in Dallas Center, and retired in 2013. Sally enjoyed collecting angels and frogs, painting ceramics, making quilts with her quilting machine, going camping and playing computer games. She was also a member of the bowling league in Ottumwa. Sally is preceded by her parents and her two brothers; Norm and Ernie Ames. Sally is survived by her husband Bill White of Perry, daughter Misty Boutchee of Perry, son Gary Louing Jr. of Ottumwa, two grandchildren; Cyrus Guyette and Jacob Guyette, and her brother Allen Ames of Perry.
