Sandra (Sandy) Michael (Johnson) Laird, 82, passed away peacefully at Perry Lutheran Homes on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.caldwellparrish.com
She was born in Elgin, North Dakota, to Ernest “Fritz” & Lulu Johnson on May 18, 1942. She graduated from Bismarck High School in May 1960 and from the University of North Dakota in 1966 with B.A. in English.
Sandy is survived by her son, Michael Laird, of Oakland, CA, and by two grandchildren: Elijah Laird and Tatum Laird. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank the Perry Lutheran Homes and Suncrest Hospice staff for their loving care of Sandy. We are grateful to you.
