Sandra Steingrabe

Sandra Steingrabe (71) of Indianola, also lovingly referred to as The Tomato Lady by her many farmers market customers passed way at home on April 26, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Caldwell Raddatz Funeral Home & Crematory, 8201 Hickman Rd. Urbandale, IA 50322. Family will greet friends starting at 12:00 on Sunday until the time of the service. She was survived by her sister Cheryl Blanco, brothers Steve Duncan and Jeff and Christine Duncan; children Shari and Evan Kibbe, Robert & Shelly Steingrabe, Michele and John Hooper and Patricia and Brian Van Haaften; grandchildren Shawnna Wathen, Mikel and Casey Hyde, William and Cassie Amsberry, Rick & Shannon Funderburk, Bryan Perkins, Heather Hooper and Andrew Hooper, nephews, nieces and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Olive Duncan and a niece Christina Blanco. She enjoyed reading, cross stitch, gardening, her farmers markets and the Lamoni Produce Auctions, but her biggest joy was family and friends. Memorial contributions can be made to the family, Kiya Koda Humane Society of Indianola or Mercy Hospice.
