Sarah Bryan, age 40 of Perry, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 10:30 a.m.at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Visitation will be on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. with family present from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Her family welcomes you dress casually and wear your favorite purple or pink shirt to honor Sarahs memory. Memorials will be given to Toris Angels (She loved Kids!) or Iowa Donor Network (Sara was both a recipient and donor!) and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Online condolences may be left at www.carrisfuneralhome.com. Sarah Sue Bryan was born on March 20,1982 in Des Moines, IA to Scott William and Sherri Sue Miller. She graduated from Perry High School with the class of 2000 and then went to Simpson College, graduating in 2004. She was united in marriage to Matthew Dean Bryan at Trinity Lutheran Church in Perry, IA on March 8, 2008. Sarah taught in the Perry Public Schools as an elementary teacher for 17 years. She enjoyed golfing, going to the lake, reading, and helping kids with tutoring in her off time and watching the Green Bay Packers, and the Iowa State Cyclones. Sarah loved her nieces and nephews. In death she rejoins her grandparents. Left to cherish Sarahs memory are her husband Matthew Dean Bryan, parents, Scott and Sherri Miller, brothers, Eric (Darcy) Miller, Josef (Kayla) Miller, and Jacob Miller nieces and nephews, Aidan and Evie Bryan; Lincoln and Ellie Miller; Rylee Miller; Gabby and Blair Anderson; Alaina and Maren Turner.
