Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements for Scott Swaink, 52, of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Scott died at his home on August 21, 2015. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Rippey Cemetery with a luncheon following at Rippey United Methodist Church. Owen Scott Swaink, age 52, of Council Bluffs passed away at his home on August 21st, 2015. Owen was born on February 2nd, 1963 in Van Nuys, California, to the late Robert and Glenda (Lape) Swaink. He graduated from Treynor High School and worked as a truck driver. Owen is survived by his daughter, Holly Webster and her children, Paetone and Kaulin of Omaha; son, Patrick Swaink of Council Bluffs; sisters, Kimberly Adair (Rex) of Maryville, Missouri, Michel Emig (Tom) of Eagleville, Missouri; niece and nephew Leevohs (Amber) Adair, Amanda Williams (Levi), aunt Linda (Lape) Lisle and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Service is scheduled for August 26, 2015 at Cutler Oneil Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
