Sean David Halverson

Sean David Halverson, died July 14, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. A visitation will be held at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 18, from 4 to 7 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Mary of Nazareth on Thursday, July 19 at 10:30 am. Sean was born on December 27, 1994 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a graduate of Holy Trinity Grade School and Hoover High School in Des Moines in 2013. Sean was employed much of his young life in landscaping. He loved working outdoors during all seasons and took great pride in creating beauty for others. There was not a sport that Sean did not enjoy, it gave us great pleasure watching him play. He had a giving heart and was always ready to help. There was never a soul who didn’t have a kind word to say about him. Sean was a Husky, Cyclone, Cub, and a Viking. He enjoyed cheering for them all! He left us too soon and our hearts are broken, but God will heal us all. Sean was proceeded in death by his grandparents; Robert and Patricia Dowson, and Mary Halverson, his uncle; Dan Dowson, and cousin; Terin Hart. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; Mary Dowson and David Halverson, grandparents; Don and Ester Halverson, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins; Jane (Brian) Pulford, Robert and Luis,John Dowson, Lisa Dowson, Brette and Blake, Myron (Joni) Halverson, Nathan, Jon, Nathan, Tiffany, and Ben Hall, Mark (Debbie) Halverson, Darren, Megan, Dan, Doug (Karla) Halverson, Kate, Gabe, Derrick, and Jerod Bingham, Dierk (Barb) Halverson, Cassie, Anna, Mary, and Sam. As well as many other beloved family and friends. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary of Nazareth or to the family.
