Shirley M. (Klug) Bush

Shirley Mae Klug was born August 4, 1936 in Wynot, NE, the second child born to Vincent and Veronica (Burbach) Klug. She was married to George Houlette and after his death she married Wray Bush. She is survived by her siblings, Leon (Linda) Klug of Creston; Keith (Mary) Klug of Des Moines; Terry Klug of Winterset; Vicki Cameron of Winterset; Sid (Jane) Klug of Winterset; Lyle Klug of Indianola; many nieces; newphews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, and two brothers, Don and Gayle Klug. Shirley worked at the Winterset Care Center North for over 30 years, helping prepare food for the residents. She was a hard worker and always enjoyed her work at the care center. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was active in the Alter and Rosary Society. Visitation: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, where the family will be present to receive friends, January 5, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1026 N. 8th Avenue, Winterset, Iowa. Service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1026 N. 8th Avenue, Winterset, Iowa. Memorial: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
