Skyler Owen Mundt

A service for Skyler Owen Mundt was held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 09, 2015 at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Pastor Charlene Wolfe of the First United Methodist Church in Yale, Iowa provided words of comfort. Recorded song chosen was Borrowed Angels by Kristin Chenweth. Casket bearers were Skyler's brothers Ayden & Lukas. Interment took place at Richland Township Cemetery in Bagley, Iowa. Following the service at the cemetery was a luncheon at the Yale Community Center. Skyler was 15.5 inches long and weighed 1 pound, 12 ounces. Skyler Owen Mundt, infant son of Jacob Mundt and Misti Mast, was born April 3, 2015 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa and died that day. Skyler was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Delmar and Loyola Mundt. Skyler will always be in the hearts of his parents Jacob Mundt and Misti Mast of Yale, IA; brothers Ayden and Lukas; grandparents Lisa & Todd Frambs of Townsend, WI, Alan & JoAnn Mundt of Dawson, IA and Janice Crawley of Dawson, IA; great-grandparents Myrna Wagner of Blair, NE, Levi Mast of Waterloo, IA and Bill & Rosanna Morrow of Newell, IA and other relatives.
