Stanley Lynch

Stan Lynch, 64, of Johnston passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Urbandale. Stan was a graduate of Urbandale High School in 1971 and The University of Northern Iowa in 1975. He married Jeanine (Thorsheim) Lynch on May 31, 1975. Stan took great pride in starting Automation Equipment Corporation (AEC) 23 years ago. He enjoyed entertaining family and friends at his lake home in Clear Lake. He is survived by his wife, Jeanine; sons, Nathan (Rebecca) Lynch and Jeff (Danielle) Lynch; grandchildren, Henry, Annabelle, Nora, and Stella. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be designated to the Stanley Lynch memorial fund at Mayo Clinic. All gifts associating this fund will contribute towards Melanoma Research - Svetomir N. Markovic, M.D., Ph.D. research at Mayo Clinic.
