Steven Lee Bever

Steven Bever, age 63 of Des Moines, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the UnityPoint Hospice Taylor House in Des Moines, IA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Perry. Visitation will be on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Minburn, IA. Memorials will be given to UnityPoint Hospice Taylor House and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Steven Lee Bever was born on December 14, 1959, at Perry, IA to Darrell Lloyd and Ernestine Junior (Clair) Bever. He attended school at Washington Township School and graduated from Central Dallas High School. After graduating he attended a technical school and became a Networking Engineer. He was united in marriage to Donna Rae Maynard in Minburn, IA on September 1, 1990. He owned and operated BNS Network Solutions. He was a member of the Capital High Christian Church in Des Moines, IA, and the Altoona Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed photography, astronomy, listening to music, and going fishing. In death he rejoins his parents, Darrell and Ernestine Bever, and a brother, Ronald Bever. Left to cherish Stevens memory are his wife Donna Bever, children, Kathleen (Earl) Bosteder, Des Moines, IA and William (Megan) Lyman, Menasha, WI, grandchildren, Trevor Bosteder, Faith "Weety" Bosteder, Johnathan Bosteder, Aiden Clemenson, and Davin Lyman, siblings, Deb ("Breezie" Hart) Davis, Ferris, TX, Jim (Kathy) Bever, Boone, IA and Diane (Jim) Cox, Minburn, IA.
