A long and beautiful life of Nadine Susie Huston came to an end on November 22, 2019 in Adel, Iowa at 94 years old. Nadine (Susie) was born on August 22nd, 1925 in Woodward, Iowa to Mathias and Susie H. Biggs. She married Howard Roland Huston (deceased) on August 31st, 1947. The couple originally started a dairy farm in Granger, Iowa and eventually settled in Adel, Iowa and continued farming until retirement. Nadine graduated high school at 16 years old, attended AIB Business School and worked for a number of years at Continental Western in Des Moines, Iowa in addition to farming. She enjoyed gardening, boating, playing cards and camping. She joins her siblings Nicholas M. Biggs, Nixola Biggs and Normadine Manning in the afterlife and is survived by her sister Corrienne Greif of Granger, Iowa, son James Howard Huston of Phoenix, AZ and daughter Jane Ann Huston of Dallas Center, Iowa. She has 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family will have a celebration of life online August 15th, 2020 at 2:00 handled by Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home - McCalley Chapel of Adel, Iowa.
