A service for Tanner Ray Fallis was held 12:00 p.m. noon Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation was after 1:00 p.m. Monday with family present from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Tim Johnson of the First Christian Church in Perry provided words of comfort. Honorary bearers were: Keegan Fallis, Alexander Fallis, Jeff Fallis and Michael Hudson. Recorded music selected was: Wagon Wheel, Pretty Little Horses, Baby Mine, Wake Me Up and Precious Child. Following the service was a balloon release in Tanner's memory. Tanner Ray Fallis, son of Shaun Fallis and Crystal Marie (Kilts) Fallis, was born February 22, 2010 in Des Moines, Iowa and died December 4, 2014 in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 4 years. Tanner was the youngest of the three brothers and the family lived in Perry and Bouton. He loved playing games. He rescued his cat Milky Way and loved her very much. Tanner liked having sword fights, blowing bubbles, snowball fights and playing catch. He liked Spider Man, Ninja Turtles and Sponge Bob. Tanner was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Rex and Gay Kilts, grandma Virginia Jackson, grandpa Henry Logan Jackson and great-grandpa Ermond Fallis. Tanner is survived by his parents Shaun and Crystal Fallis of Bouton, IA; brothers Keegan and Alexander Fallis of Bouton, IA; grandparents Bill Kilts of Perry, IA and Ciara MacFarland of Bouton, IA; Richard Fallis of Idaho Falls, ID, Irene Chacano (John E.) of Horseshoe Bend, ID; great- grandmothers, Lora Bell Fallis of Pocatello, ID, and Gloria Ballou of Kansas City; aunts & uncles: Steven Landers (LeAnn), Daniel Saenz (Amanda), Elizabeth Kilts, Michael Hudson, Jeff Fallis and Anna Coblentz (Paul), several great aunts & uncles, other relatives, his entire Mercy family and many friends. In lieu of flowers and because Tanner loved stuffed animals, the family suggests stuffed animals which will be donated to Mercy Pediatrics.
