Teresa Cooley

Teresa Lynn Cooley, 57, of Adel passed away December 25, 2020. Services for Teresa will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to 1131 Prairie St, Adel, IA 50003. Teresa was born December 10, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa to Joe Cooley and Carolyn Coffin Cooley. Teresa graduated from Adel High School. Teresa was a resident of Adel where she worked many years as a dispatcher for Dallas County. She spent many years in a local bowling league and participated in numerous tournaments. Teresa had a favorite time of the year and that was the Christmas Season, she loved everything about it. She also enjoyed the Iowa State Fair where she would delight in all the fair activities, especially the grandstand shows. Most of all Teresa loved life. She spent time doing all kinds of activities and spending time with her friends and family. Teresa’s caring nature and heart-warming personality will be missed by many. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Coffin Cooley; father, Joseph V. (Kathy) Cooley; sister, Jodi Cook; niece, Hannah Cook and nephew, Brecken Fryer, as well as numerous extended family members and a many friends.
