Thomas Charles Ludwig passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the Veterans Hospital, Des Moines. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 6 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, West Des Moines. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, November 5 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory, Urbandale. Thomas is survived by three sisters, Mary Ann of Chicago, Rita (Richard) Klein of Kingwood, Texas, and Carol (Warren Obluck) of Vero Beach, Florida; five brothers: William (Joyce) and Robert (Kathleen), of Des Moines, Fr. John Ludwig of West Des Moines, James (Patrick Maloney) of Evanston Illinois, and Richard (Mary) of Lincoln, Nebraska and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mildred (Reibly) Ludwig. Memorial contributions may be given to the Saint Joseph Emergency Family Shelter.
