Timothy C. Pittman

Timothy Craig Pittman, son of Junior Glen Pittman and Phyllis Ann Cornelius Pittman, was born January 12, 1960 in Perry, Iowa and died June 25, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 47 years, 5 months, and 13 days. Tim grew up in Perry and graduated from high School. In 1984 he married Darcel Coleman and they lived in the Perry and Rippey areas. Tim worked in road construction, farmed, did roofing, worked for Service Master, Ossmundsons and DCS at Iowa Beef Packing. Tim enjoyed fishing, camping, car racing, motorcycles and watching basketball. Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father. He is survived by his mother Phyllis Pittman of Perry; one son Timothy Glen Pittman of Perry; daughters Tracy Pittman and Takla Pittman both of Perry; step daughters Tanisha Dillinger(Junior) of Perry; and Tarrin Thomas(Bob Tolle) of Minburn; grandchildren: Alona Moreland; Aiden Pittman; Damon, Seth, and Kaitlyn Dillinger; and Brianna Tolle. Tim is also survived by his brother Mike Pittman (Mel Harris) of Rippey; sisters Vicki Mitchell (Gene Taylor) of Rippey; Barbara Sherman (Michael) and Gloria Conrad (Jim) all of Perry; nieces, nephews, several aunts and uncles, other relatives and friends. A memorial potluck was held Saturday June 30, 2007 at noon at the Patte Park in Perry. A memorial fund has been established at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.
