Timothy was born in Manning, Iowa on June 13, 1952 to Jack H. and Mary E. (Ganoe) Lloyd and grew up in Bayard, Iowa. Timothy graduated from Bayard High School in 1970. In January 1971 he joined the United States Marine Corp and served his country for three years. He later moved to Des Moines where he met his wife, Karen, in 1977. They moved to Florida in 1980 where Tim attended Central Florida College. After living in Ocala and Gainesville, Tim and Karen moved to Archer in 1990. They were married May 27, 2006 at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa. Timothy proudly served America's military veterans as assistant director of Facility Management at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center until his retirement in 2008. A farmer at heart, after retirement he dedicated his time, energy and skills to the care of his property, his horses, and his dogs. (He took darn good care of Karen, also!) Whether driving his tractor or learning how to bake cakes, Timothy lit up the room with his smile. His unique laugh was contagious. Timothy was a hard worker and had a knack for repairing, rather than replacing things. He often said that he could fix anything with a pair of pliers and some nine wire. An inveterate shopper, Timothy was a dedicated but private family man who enjoyed nothing better than a family get together with a good cup of coffee and anything chocolate. Tim was preceded in death by his father Jack H. Lloyd. Tim is survived by his wife Karen Schaudt; mother Mary Lloyd, sister Ginger Lloyd, brother Jack E.
