T.J. Hamilton

T.J. Hamilton, 90, of Osceola died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at his home. Tommy Joe Hamilton was born in Kewanee, Illinois on September 30, 1924, the son of Walter and Ola (Miller) Hamilton. His marriage to Marilyn Ann Skoglund took place on November 15, 1948 in York, Nebraska and to this union eleven children were born. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He farmed for most of his life and loved driving the back roads as anyone who got into a car with him could attest to. He is survived by his children, Vicky (Craig) Luce, Douglas (Karen) Hamilton, Michael (Angel) Hamilton, Edgar Hamilton, Tom (Jane) Hamilton, Pamela (Dave) Hewitt, Larry (Ronda) Hamilton, Betty (Doug) Craig, Beth (Rick) Larrington and Debbie (Joe) Hewitt; 31 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Hamilton; and nieces and nephews. T.J. was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Linda Jo Fuller; a granddaughter, Krista, a sister, Ethel (Ben) Slover, 2 uncles; a daughter-in-law, Susan; and a sister-in-law Jane Hamilton.
