Travis Hunter Jackson

Travis Hunter Jackson, 19, of Peru, died Saturday, November 14, 2015. A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset, where family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 18 at the New Bridge Church in Winterset. Memorials may be directed to the family. Travis Hunter Jackson was born February 4, 1996 in Creston, Iowa, the son of Brian and Jessica (Dillinger) Jackson. He graduated from Winterset High School in 2014 and worked at Madison County Tire for the past three years. Travis participated in a trap shooting club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mudding, and just being outdoors. He is survived by his parents, Brian and Jess Jackson of Peru; twin sons, Brantley Dean and Jace Don Jackson; siblings, Dallas Jackson of St. Charles and Shania Light of Winterset; grandparents, Jerry Jackson of Peru, Fran Jackson of Winterset, and Dick and Raedene Dillinger of Lorimor; great-grandparents, Richard and Lois Dillinger of Peru, Johneta Horner of Des Moines, and Ila Jackson of Peru. Travis was preceded in death by a great-grandfather, Ralph Jackson.
