Treva Patterson

Treva Patterson, 90, of Winterset, Iowa, died Thursday, December 14, 2017, at West Bridge Care & Rehabilitation in Winterset. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset with Rev. Dr. Ronald Yarnell officiating. Per her wishes, her body has been cremated with the cremains to be buried in the Winterset Cemetery. Treva was born on March 24, 1927, at Winterset, Iowa to Forrest and Daisy (Neely) Jordan. She was a lifetime resident of Winterset and was a graduate of Winterset High School. On August 7, 1950, Treva married William “Bill” Patterson at Sterling, Colorado. She was a homemaker and had worked for different businesses around Winterset through her lifetime. Treva is survived by her son, Ed (Mary Jane) Patterson of Deerfield Beach, FL; and sister, Carol Altenbern of Dubuque. She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Daisy (Neely) Jordan; husband, Bill Patterson; and brothers, Ralph Jordan, Ward Jordan, Don Jordan, and Lee Jordan. Family will greets friends 1 hour before service time on Tuesday. Memorials will be directed to the American Cancer Society.
