Tung Dang Nguyen, 83, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born in Vietnam. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Des Moines. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, October 3 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory in Urbandale. Tung is survived by his children, Trung (Hanh), Hung (Thao), Don, Kim (Scott), LoAn (Bao) Allen (Trinh) and Katie (Steve) and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Tuyet Ngo.
