Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of services for Vanita McKelvey 92, formerly of Grand Junction. Mrs. McKelvey died Sunday at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the Grand Junction United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. before the service on Saturday. Vanita is survived by her husband Raymond; a daughter JoAnn Morris (Doug) of Montana; daughter-in-law Norma McKelvey of Iowa; brother Vaughn ( Doris) Senter of Illinois; six grandchildren: Denise Alonzo (Steve) and Beth Morris of California, and Cindy Ott (Matt) of Florida; Mike McKelvey (Melynda), Nancy LaMere (Matt), and Mary Anne Canfield (Eric) all of Iowa; and 14 great-grandchildren.
