Verda Mae Hiskey

Verda Mae Hiskey was born in Fenton, Iowa, on May 13, 1930, to William and Matilda Eimers. She passed away peacefully on August 30, 2018, at the age of 88.       After attending Iowa Teacher's College, Verda taught elementary school for years, and later assisted in the family apartment and laundry/dry cleaning businesses.        Verda had unselfishly chosen to donate her body to science, but this was not possible after her illness. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Perry, (Russ) a son, Bill Hiskey, (Ava) 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandsons. Her Husband, Eugene Hiskey, preceded her in death.
