Victor Munoz Mejorado Jr.

Victor Munoz Mejorado, Jr., 18, passed away on December 7, 2021. He was born on November 8, 2003 to Victor Munoz, Sr., and Isela “Mejorado” Munoz in Des Moines, Iowa. Victor was attending East High School and was supposed to graduate in May 2022. He was accepted into college at Iowa State University where he was going to attend in the fall. Victor was a kind and loving kid. He was very sweet and outgoing. He also loved cars. His dream one day was to own a BMW. He played the trumpet throughout High School. His favorite color was red. He is survived by his parents; sisters Yaricel and Andrea Munoz; grandma Petra Villarreal; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandma Margarita Rodarte; aunt Lluvia Munoz; and uncles Filly and Noe Munoz. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory, 8201 Hickman Rd., Urbandale, IA 50322. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1627 Grand Ave, West Des Moines, IA 50265. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, IA.
