Vishalkumar Patel

Vishal Patel passed away at the age of 33 on Saturday, June 2nd. He was born on July 31, 1985 in Chicago, IL. Vishal was a jovial kid as he grew up in Storm Lake, IA. After high school, he pursued and graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University (Go Hawkeyes!) in 2007. As a talented and dedicated engineer, Vishal took great pride in his work. He had a broad range of interests including the latest tech gadgets, sports (especially basketball and football), and of course, dogs. In addition to his wonderful sense of humor, Vishal was a very compassionate and reflective young man. Vishal is survived by his two dogs Penny and Bear whom he loved very much. He is also lovingly remembered by his parents Geeta and Sunil, his sister Tejal, brother-in-law Raj, and adoring niece Kavya. He will be missed. May his soul rest in peace.
