Wesley “Homer” E. Thompson, 82, passed away at home in Granger, IA on April 24, 2025 surrounded by his family. As a retired printer he was a pigeon racer in the DMI club.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Alice Fae, son Kurt Thompson, daughter, Kris (Steve) Christenson, granddaughters, Bethany (Josh) Ruby, Leigha Christenson, one great-grandson, Rivers Ruby, one sister Janet (Scott) Glass, numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Ron “Dino” Thompson.
A celebration of life will be 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Adel, IA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Wesley's name.
