William DeMoss, 80, passed away on February 4, 2022 at the Winterset Care Center North. William was born on May 14, 1941 to Lee and Florence (Jones) DeMoss in Des Moines, Iowa. He worked at Fire Stone Tire and Rubber Company in Des Moines for 22 years. William enjoyed hobbies such as hunting, fishing and collected many hunting knives and swords. He also like to watch football, basketball and baseball games on TV and had many favorite teams. He enjoyed watching old country westerns staring John Wayne or Clint Eastwood. William is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sandy; Son, Barry DeMoss; brother, Mike; sister, Diane; four grandchildren; and numerous step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Chris and Todd DeMoss; and brother, Lauren DeMoss. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.caldwellparrish.com.
