William Pierre Foshier was born October 16, 1952 in Park Forest, IL to William Foshier and Ryta-Marie (Kolbach) Foshier. He grew up in Fairfield, IA and attended Fairfield High School and Parsons College. Bill was a one-of-a-kind brother, uncle, son, grandson and friend. He loved his family and spending time together with family and friends. He was a man with a gentle and kind spirit, loved and trusted God, and was a tried and true Hawkeye Fan. Bill passed away July 11, 2016 at the Granger Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He is now free of his body but still with us, dancing with us, laughing with us and present in spirit for every event. We know he is missing his family, but not half as much as we MISS HIM. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., Thursday, July 14 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at the funeral home. Bill is survived by his brothers and sisters: Nora (Bruce) Giese, Diagonal, IA; Jean (Tor) Foshier, West Des Moines, IA; Steve (Karen) Foshier, Lakeville, MN; Chris (Mam) Foshier, West Des Moines, IA; Michele (Kevin) Cook, Farmington, MN; Shelley (Chris) Bechtel, Fairfield, IA Nieces and Nephews: Luke Giese, Audrey Stamps, Sarah Oskvig, Joseph Foshier, Sam Foshier, Ryta-Marie Foshier, Ian Cook, and Madeleine Cook, Tanasit Posew (Bank) Thai family member. Grandnieces: Brynn Oskvig and Piper Stamps Bill was preceded in death by: William Foshier (Father), Ryta Foshier (Mother), Madeleine Kolbach (Grandmother), Jean-Pierre Kolbach (Grandfather).
