Wilma Henson 'Wilm' - Winterset

Wilma "Wilm" Henson, 70, of Winterset, Iowa, died Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, May 13, 2013, at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial will be in the Winterset Cemetery at Winterset. Wilma was born on July 23, 1942, at New Virginia, Iowa to Sam and Cleta (Berbam) Wright. She was a graduate of Lorimor High School and married Robert Henson on September 3, 1961 at Winterset. She has lived in Winterset since 1961 having worked in Winterset for a short time and spending most of her time being a homemaker. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, antiques and the older country music. She also sold Shaklee products. Wilma is survived by her brothers, Robert (Leta) Wright of New York and Jim Wright of Winterset. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Cleta (Berbam) Wright; husband, Robert "Bob" Henson; and sister, Beverly Ann Wright. Memorials may be directed to her family for a future designation.
