Wilma Kastner, age 93 of Perry, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Kings Gardens Campus of Perry Lutheran Homes in Perry, IA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Perry. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. with family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil and Rosary service held at 7:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery at Jamaica, IA. Family requests that everyone wear face coverings and practice social distancing while attending visitation and Mass. Memorials will be given to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or the Perry Food Pantry and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Online condolences may be left at www.carrisfuneralhome.com. Wilma Lucille Kastner was born on August 6, 1927 in Lincoln Township, Dallas County, IA to Elmer Corbin and Eva (Bennick) Snively. She attended school at attended country school, Yale for 3 years and graduated from Panora High School. She was united in marriage to Ernest Joseph Kastner at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jamaica, IA on December 26, 1944. She helped on the farm and did some house cleaning. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guthrie Center for many years and St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Perry, the Rosary Society and the Regina Guild. She enjoyed gardening, was an excellent cook, very creative at sewing, quilting, playing word scramble and reading. In death she rejoins her husband, parents, a daughter, Lee Ann Stoner, and a sister, Mary Summy. Left to cherish Wilmas memory are her, children, Angela (Harold) Farley, Perry, IA, Joan (Frank) Kilma, North Liberty, IA and Carol (Don) Collins, Woodway, TX, grandchildren, Chris (Kelli) Farley, Gayle (Dale) Colbert, Tina Peitzman, Amanda (Marshall) Ritchie, Eva (Chris) Lutz, Joseph (Lynette) Collins, Shane (Laura) Collins, Claire (Ryan) Wukawitz, Jerry (Kim) Stoner, and Matthew (Alayna) Stoner, great grandchildren, Britney Farley, Josh (Karly) Farley, Kayli (Andrew) Hardee, Caleb Colbert, McKenzie Colbert, Jake and Paige Peitzman, Av, Regina, Muriam, Clare, Immacule, Ana Marie, and Gabriel Ritchie, Avery, and Elise Lutz, Oliver and Yvonne Collins, Evelyn, Henry, and Porter Collins, Charlotte, Owen and Jack Wukawitz, Leeann and Corbin Stoner and Everett Stoner, and a sister, Zelma Motsick, Perry, IA.
