Zachary David Clark

Zachary David Clark, 22 years old, passed from this life on Monday, January 20, 2020. Zach was born to Dale Clark and Paula Ward in Des Moines on April 25, 1997. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, hanging out with family at family functions, and especially spending time with his Grandmother. He cherished the times they went to flea markets together and never turned down a bowl of her delicious chili. Zach was a bright, talented, caring young man whom was loved very dearly by his family. He will be missed tremendously, but will remain forever in their hearts. “Rest in peace my son, I love you and always will.” –Dad. “I love you and always will Zachman.” –Grandma. Zach is survived by his father, Dale Clark and step mother, Jennifer Fifer of Des Moines; his mother, Paula Ward of Des Moines; his brothers, Dillon (Kinzie) Clark of Newton and Austin Clark of Des Moines; his sister, Brooke Clark of Des Moines; half sisters, Ashley and Breya; grandparents, Linda (Fred) Knapp and Dale (Charlene) Clark Sr. of Des Moines; aunts and uncles, Sheila (Ron) Ebbing and Steve (Lori) Clark of Des Moines and many other relatives. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Milas and Violet Smithhart; great uncles, Cleo Smithhart, James Ramer, Harley Wilson, and Dale Smithhart; and great aunt, Margaret Strong (Heck).
